Meet Jano Coetzee, our dedicated Clinical Sociologist. Jano's inspiration for this field stems from the intricate complexities of societal dynamics and the beauty of human behaviour.

He is particularly passionate about areas like sociotherapy, education, and organizational consultancy, where he finds fulfillment in helping individuals rebuild their personal and social life world, and also providing employee wellness support. With a specialization in sociotherapy and group functioning, he enjoys working with individuals and small groups. His community involvement, amongst others, include the facilitation of our family support group. Key moments in Jano's career include therapeutic encounters that offer moments of catharsis and relatability.

What sets Jano apart is his hybrid combination of professionalism and warmth, providing clients with a strong educational background for safety and understanding. He emphasizes the importance of building trust and relationships through being dependable and relatable, creating a space for personal discovery and societal understanding.
Jano also takes great pride in the Community Trauma Project, which he initiated during the pandemic to address collective trauma and has received positive feedback, demonstrating its lasting impact.

In his free time, he engages in reading, jogging, and socializing to recharge and find inspiration for his work. He stays up to date with the latest developments through continuous reading, workshops, seminars, and interdisciplinary connections.
